The word family this week is the -ight family. We brainstormed words such as night, light, bright, height, sight, flight, etc.

A reminder that there is no school on Friday of this week as it is a professional development day for teachers. There is also no school on Monday due to the May long weekend.

On Wednesday is our field trip to Edith Lake. Please ensure your child is on-time on Wednesday as we will be leaving immediately after the 8:30 bell. I will have a map for all of my drivers, but the driving instructions are as follows:

• Take Hwy 5A south from Kamloops toward Merritt
• At Knutsford Junction turn right onto Long Lake Rd.
• Go 3.4 km and turn right on Edith Lake Rd.
• Go 4.3 km to lake on good gravel road
