The word family learned this week is the -ug family. We brainstormed words such as bug, mug, chug, plug, shrug, litterbug etc.. Please practice these words with your child this week.

Don't forget to do your home reading every night. It is encouraged to take the same book home several nights in a row to practice fluency, especially at the higher levels.

A reminder that this Thursday is hot dog day for the students that ordered hot dogs.

Tomorrow is PE so please make sure your child has proper indoor footwear.

With the snowy weather upon us, it is taking more time in the morning for students to get organized. There have been several students who are late on a regular basis lately. Please ensure you drop your child off early enough so they have enough time in the morning to get organized. The expectation is that students are in the class and ready to learn at 8:30 am. Students are allowed inside the building each morning at 8:20 am. Thank you for your continued cooperation.
